Welcome back to Rocks Fall! Your home for the best creator interviews, game reviews, and RPG news!
Sometimes we all get tired of run of the mill fantasy adventures that are so prevalent in the tabletop world. Luckily there are ways to break out of the norm, but a Game Master may need a little inspiration to get the concept of a different world to play in just right. I look for inspiration in a lot of the things I read, play and watch, and I think ideas present in some video games are great places to start getting ideas for themes that don’t often come up in your generic tabletop games. Today I’d like to focus in on some of my favorite role-playing video games that have inspired me to add unique flavor to my homebrew games. I really hope these help get your creative juices flowing as well!
Let me know what your thoughts are on these, and I’d love to hear what other video games give you all inspiration for the tabletop games you play. Happy gaming, friends!
